Corporate Social Responsibility. It refers to the concept of a social responsibility of businesses, which is the way companies interact with the communities affected by their activities.
According to this concept, companies must demonstrate exemplary performance in the realm of non-financial reporting and minimize their negative impact on the community and environment.
There are several norms and standards that a company should meet to count on a high CSR ranking, including high occupational health and safety, formulation of a corporate social responsibility policy, adequate monitoring of working hours and remuneration or a complete ban on the employment of minors.
