A movement and networking hub connecting businesses worldwide, also a certification system for business.

B Corporation aims to change the current economic system to serve all people, communities, and the Planet. It works by motivating businesses to solve today's most significant problems with the tools they have.

B Corporations are called B Corps, which follow a sustainable development strategy and use their business to build a positive impact on the Planet. To obtain B Corp certification, every company, regardless of the country or sector it represents, must go through an evaluation process.

Companies that meet the standards required by the certifying organization receive certification and will join the global network of B Corps.

The "B" in B Corporation's name comes from the English word "benefit."

Today, about 6,500 so-called B Corporations operate worldwide, from 89 countries and representing 161 business sectors.
