Carbon-neutral services
From TerGoPedia
Carbon-neutral services are those whose carbon footprint has been fully neutralized by carbon offsets.
To call a service carbon neutral, its carbon footprint must be counted accurately. Then the emissions that can be reduced over the lifetime of the service need to be reduced. Finally, the residual, unavoidable part of GHG emissions needs to be neutralized with carbon offsets. Offsetting is done for a specific time, i.e., the time service is offered or for a particular number of services performed (it is not a one-time process).
