EFRAG

EFRAG (European Financial Advisory Group) was established in 2001 with the encouragement of the European Commission to serve the public interests. EFRAG's mission is to develop and promote European views in a thought leadership role and to ensure that they are properly taken into account in the IASB (International Accounting Standard Boards) standard-setting process.
It’s a private association in which Members Organisations are National Organisations and European Stakeholders with knowledge or expertise in developing International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Since 2022 the group has been advising the European Commission in the form of fully prepared drafts of UE Sustainability Reporting Standards.
